PERSISTENCE pays off!

When my computer was "attacked" a few weeks back, I thought I lost all my photos since they were on the C drive and that was what was "compromised" among other things. But, about ten days ago I found most of them in Google Web Albums. The newest are in a new version of Picasa which doesn't have the icon to use to post on a blog. I tried everything. Uploading - downloading, geez everything that I could think of.

Today I had an "aha" moment. I went to recent documents, found the photo I had been looking for that I photographed a few weeks back and there on this method of the photo was a place to send it to Blogspot. YEE HA. It works, I hope.

Writing a post, without a photo just seems to be like an incomplete post. This photo was taken a few weeks back near the bus station in San Miguel. It was around the Feast of the Virgen of Guadalupe. I have more photos to share of Christmas festivities and decorations, but that is for another day. Tomorrow. The next day.

Yes, I realize I have been sporadic lately in not writing. Life has been interrupting my writing much to my dismay and displeasure. I'm going to try to do better.

There are other ways to move photos from Picasa to your blog. You can email them to yourself and then download them to your desktop. Or you can use the Export button down at the bottom of the Picasa page. A file opens from which you can drag the photos to the desktop.

From the desktop it's easy to add it to the blog. I always send photos first to the desktop, then to the blog.

FYI, señorita.
