Tomorrow I head off to Albuquerque to "roll" with my outsider art friends! It will be a blast..........We'll be all over northern New Mexico for five days seeing all manner of quirky, interesting (to me and others) environments, art and who knows what else.
I doubt I'll have access to a computer until the 26th of May - so ya'll have a great and safe Memorial Day weekend!
Let's see, on the 26th I'll be back in Galveston, then Houston, then...............oh my gosh, having fun is exhausting. And, whoever said "retirement is boring" isn't retired.

Part of the fun of your Blog, is the ride "as it happens". The outsider art tour will produce great material for all of us, I'm thinking. Hope that SOMEHOW you'll be able to blog your trip as it happens. If not, it's Same Life Different Location all over again.....

I so agree with you Felipe. And Charley - if I were a "good" blogger i would breakdown and buy a laptop - but not being a wealthy woman, anticipation can also be fun - so just bear with me til I can blog and then when, or if, I get back to San Miguel - I can download alllllllll the photos and regale you with all of it. Thanks for continuing to read and comment on the blog.
Babs, you can get a laptop up there that does everything you will want for $400. It would cost lots more in Mexico, as you know.
Have a great trip, tell everyone hi for me and send me the itinerary...I would love to have some new places in NM to explore.
