The question of the day is........how the heck can something as little as a cricket make so much noise? And, if one can make a LOT of noise, imagine two in my house last night! It was like a mariachi band of crickets for heaven's sake.
So, while others ponder earth shattering, world shattering questions, mine is simply, how long does a cricket live?

We have had a cricket in the closet ever since we moved in this house. So learn to enjoy it like the bells and fireworks.

Inspiring answers. I pray that I don't have Billie's situation. Today that cricket was SO loud that I ate my breakfast out in the garden! I tried finding it but when I got on that side of the room, it got quiet.
Well, one was on the beside table tonight and it is no longer......as Wayne so succinctly put it. Ahh, it's quiet.

I don't know how long "grillos" live but, I miss them so much. I grew up listening to crickets and love them. Send a few my way.
Sounds like a welcome distraction to the ringing in my ears but then I wouldn't want them hopping around while I'm sleeping.
