5 Reasons,oops, 4 3/4 Reasons I go to Texas

I wasn't going to use this photo because it was one of those "quick shots" where you say, "Hey kids, let Grammy get a photo of all of you" - not really posed but a little bit. Well Andrew does not like to have his photo taken...........that's 3/4's of him leaving the scene. And then I loved the smiles on the kids' faces at my distress at Andrew leaving and I just had to share it with you..............THEY are the main reason I drive fourteen hours to Texas! Of course this isn't alllll of them cause Matilda is missing. It is darn near impossible to EVER get a shot of everyone together. The last time was two years ago where all the parents and kids were there....and me!
Life is about the little minutes, isn't it?

I can empathize with Andrew. I hated having my picture taken -- hard to believe that now. My mother has several pictures of empty chairs I had vacated rather than have my picture taken. Now, I think I would be a paparazzi nightmare if I had the fame to attract them.

Ahh Steve, I too was the same way. My Dad got so mad once at me in Jr. High that I thought he was going to have a stroke.it scared me so bad I never complained again! I still grit my teeth to have a photo taken........well, in my mind I do!

Me, too, I hate having my photo taken. I've seen maybe two photos I liked of myself in my whole life! When the Capt shoots me I claim editing rights and he often ends up with nada!

What a beautiful family of kids. Hope they get to visit you, too.

Beautiful children.
I, too, hate having my picture taken and spend most of my time behind the camera where I feel much better. If it weren't for fellow bloggers, who will remain nameless I could go for years without having my photo taken.

Interesting that 3 out of 4 posters who claim to hate having their picture taken have their photo posted for the whole world to see. That really is you guys, isn't it???

At our place it's five grandsons and they will stand still for the photo but one must know there will be the finger v sign at least behind two of the five heads.

Gin - How astute! This is probably only one of three or four pictures taken in my life that I liked........I DO like to put a face with a message though.......Thanks Brenda, 1st mte and cynthia - I'm prejudiced but I think they are very special too............
