No these aren't boyfriends, but GREAT friends who have given me encouragement and instructions on how to add links, the blog roll, site counter and who knows what else! I have succeeded, a little, but with GREAT frustration. I have managed to get three blogs on the blog roll and now, no matter how I enter other sites, it won't go to the blog........FRUSTRATION is a nice way of saying I have been tempted to throw the computer out the door! The weather thingy won't move over and it has the wrong time............curses! I do now know how to add a link, so I don't have to type the entire website of the person I'm commenting about, but in my present state of mind, if I did that tonight and it didn't work, I might never blog again.......
Everyone's blogs look so good! Boo hoo...........I must also admit that I am intimidated now that I know how many people are reading the blog in a day - I thought I was a voice talking to the wilderness, but heck there are "beings" in that wilderness reading and not commenting - like over 140 in one day! OY VEY..........do I have to be more careful of what I say? I hope not - cause it sure has been fun to just write what comes to mind and not worry about the ramifications!
Thanks again Steve, Wayne, Todd and Richard for your help in getting me to the next level of this fun endeavor of "blogging"!

Babs - I just got most of my blog list up on a new blog roll, so now I can see when you folks come up with new posts without having to search through my whole list (some people blog once every few MONTHS!) But I had some names on my blog list that Blogspot says didn't have RSS feeds, and until I took them off my list I was admonished to correct my errors. Guess I'll have to have two lists, one with RSS and one without. Yes, it's frustrating, but we'll figure it out with a little help from our friends.
Babs and Bliss -- Until Andee got me interested in putting together a blog, I had no idea what a great experience it would be. Meeting the two of you has been one of the best. I found the best way to use the blog roll was to simply copy the address over -- just like creating a link.
Like you, after I put my site counter up, I have seen the number of hits with no comments. I was amazed at how many people actually read my blog.
Some bloggers are funny, some use words I have to look up in the dictionary, some are helpful information.
I wouldn't stress over how you write your blog. It's your blog!!

Ok First Mate, now you've added something NEW - RSS feeds - is that like a corncrib? Lordy, the more I learn the less I know!
And, Steve, you reminded me that I owe BIG thanks to Billie for getting me started in the first place! And yeah, well I've been copying the address over into blog roll, did about 20 of them, not a one transferred.....Thanks for liking that you met 1st mate and me! Ha, do you know we're both Texas women?

Babs - to get you further up to speed: On our comments our names appear as links. Click the link, it goes to our profile. At the bottom of the profile will be the name of the blog. Voila! RSS feeds are still mystifying me, but as the Capt said, it's a way of making your blog "live" so when you update it, subscribers are notified of new info. See Wikipedia's definition. Steve, Wayne, Todd and Richard, is that about right?
Babs, like you, I feel extremely Blog Challenged. And like you, Billie got me started. As Billie said, keep on writing because your blog is pure FUN. And anytime Steve, Wayne, Tod and Richard want to lend me a hand...
