It started the other day with switching out the clothes from
heavy winter clothes to now, light gauzy spring things.
On my "Houston list" was Sunbrella fabric. This fabric continues to
get pricier and pricier, but, I prevailed and found this for $9 a yard.
Good thing, because I needed a lot of it for these two chaises. In addition to having the
chaises recovered, we repainted them with black enamel paint. My gosh, they look
brand new. I've had them about eleven years.
I like the brightness of the colors. I went to the nursery today and bought a few more
red geraniums and a couple of large bougainvilla. Spent less then $20 for all of
that.

Love the new fabric! $9 a yard on Sunbrella is a score!
You're right Barbara, this weather is absolute heaven. I love the loungers, they look fantastic!
Thanks Beck - I thought it was a "deal" as I used to buy thousands of yards at wholesale and it was much higher then $9..........
Shannon - You'll have to come over, put your legs up and have a glass of.....and enjoy with me.....
Love your garden! I'm about to have my albañil finish my garden and I can't wait. I'm so missing my gardens back in Austin. Crossing fingers that our long hot summers in the Yucatan don't burn up my lettuce heads!
My gardens bring me perpetual pleasure.
Love your choice of fabric. Very pleasing to the eye! Gardening is one of my pleasures!

Luscious fabric...
Hard to find good chaise canvas at $9 in San Miguel?
Carol Troy - I buy all my fabric in the USA, in Houston, usually at Hancock's as they have always had the best prices on Sunbrella. In fact, $9 a yard is below wholesale....
