How the Heck Did THAT Happen?

In my business life and in my private life, I've always prided myself on returning phone calls, the same day someone called me, if possible.  The same with emails, FB messages and comments to Babsblog.

Then, today, out of the blue, somehow I saw a column that said something like "53 Comments Not Reviewed" on Babsblog.  What the heck?  Where and how did this happen?  They went all the way back to 2012.

Some were regular commenters. Some were SPAM.  But, honestly, I had never seen nary one of these comments!

I'm mortified.

People like Wayne W from Fort Worth, Laurie M from NOLA, Dana from Houston, Bill O from Houston  and lastly, but never leastly, Jennifer R from Morelia.

Many of the comments that I read today, I published to the blogs, even if they were back in 2012.  I treasure every comment that everyone makes, usually.  But, almost never, do I not publish a comment.  Only when they are selling windshields in the Phillipines or are offering naughty services somewhere in the world, then I hit the SPAM button.  Sheesh.

I extend heartful apologies to anyone who is reading this today and made a comment at some point that was not published.  Where were those comments and why were they somewhere else?  Heck if I know.

All I can say is "Sorry" and hope I can find the location of where I found those comments so I can make sure that NEVER happens again.

Onward!

And all along I just thought I'd written something that pissed you off.

Really? Oh my gosh, heck no.....and if somehow you had, I would never not post a comment, but would bring the subject up, whatever the heck it was, in a polite way at a later date, possibly on the phone or face to face.

Wow, I made that sentence so long it looks like a paragraph. Ha........

I guess it may have to do with re-settimg your computer after movimg back into your lovely home. A weekly reboot of devices can never hurt. We're back into our lovely home too now, it's raining as expected, and we would prefer the Mexican sunshine.

Thanks for giving us three months of wonderful memories...

Cheers! Peter and Shelagh.

Aren't you glad that things like washing machines, vacuums, and televisions aren't nearly as cantankerous as computers? They'd all likely have killed us by now if they were. Though as I write, I'm realizing that between hundreds of channels and thousands of settings, TVs are now getting almost as bad as computers.

Where we have yet to figure out how to just get local broadcast news on our TV.

Peter, glad to know you and Shelagh are home safe and sound. Thought of you yesterday and wondered what time you would finally arrive home........
It was my pleasure to have someone here who enjoyed it as much as it appears that ya'll did.
I also discovered why I never saw your comments on my Yahoo site but had to go directly to the blog to see them ALL your comments went to SPAM! For some reason yesterday I looked at SPAM too and there they all were! Mystery solved. I've never backed up my computer but the Computer Guru Rodrigo does when he comes over or he has some system set up. It would be beyond me to figure that out. I don't even do updates myself because I'm afraid I would mess something up......and probably would.

Enjoy your Home Sweet Home.

Kim, the electronic world bypassed me probably twenty years ago. Now I just muddle by in my own ignorant way and don't do anything fancy for fear of the TV or computer unplugging itself for good! ha.

Glad you're enjoying Mexico........

Thanks Sparks, but in reviewing the dates, that was back in the time when I had to approve a comment before it could be posted. Now, all comments go directly to the post.

I still have not resolved posting the blog to FB. I think I'll have to figure out how to use Networked Blogs and transfer it that way if I want photos to show up.
Obviously something has changed........in their systems.

I have found your Blog particularly problematic when trying to leave comments - but hey I have not given up ;-)

Thankfully. I would be crushed if you no longer gave me your thoughts and opinions!

Even Networked Blogs was messing up my main Blog so I deleted it hoping to reinstall. They said sorry .... can't do any new ones. Wish you luck but I'm going to look for another

Oh gosh Sparks! We'll see what happens. I'll ask some people who use that site and see how the process works.........
