YAHOO! MAIL

The new YAHOO! Mail is beyond irritating. It is driving me crazy........and that is a SHORT trip.

This morning I tried to send an email to someone. Their email address wouldn't come up. So I tried every way possible to get into contacts to get the email address. No can do.

If people are happy with someone, why does a company arbitrarily change it. Isn't the customer always right? I wrote to Yahoo, customer service. Of course, no response.

I am SO irritated right now.........AAARGH.

Whew, now I feel better! Ha..........

Blogger's been driving me insane the past few months. If I insert photos, I have to edit forever to try and get the spacing right. Something's also changed in relation to signing in and comments. Aaargh! I think questions go directly to the trash bin!

LIFE IS ROUGH ENOUGH WITHOUT THESE THINGS CHANGING. IT'S ALMOST AS BAD AS NOT BEING ABLE TO GET THE LIPSTICK COLOR YOU HAVE WORN FOR 30 YEARS CAUSE THEY DISCONTINUED IT....
BOY, I DO SOUND LIKE A GRUMPY LADY TODAY........BUT IT IS IRRITATING, ISN'T IT?
MY COMPUTER GURU PUT ME ON MOZILLA FIREFOX AND FOR THE LONGEST TIME I COULDN'T COMMENT ON ANYBODY'S BLOG UNTIL I COMPLAINED AND THEY FIXED IT.

There is something amiss in computerlandia these days. It took me over an hour to get today's post to transfer to Blogger. But life is so grand otherwise, why let this bother us? I keep reminding myself blogging is an option.

But, you are correct, being without email can be more than a bit irritating.

Steve, maybe that is why the church bells have been ringing for so long. It's a call.......about something.....who needs these dratted computers?

I'm with you on Yahooo, in fact I switched to gmail just a few months ago, and have now convinced Tom to switch because I told him I was not going to answer anymore of his 'why is it doing this...' 'how can I get it to do that again'.
Get rid of Yahoo...too many issues!

I would but I wouldn't know how to transfer my email addresses! I went through that when I moved from Prodigy to Yahoo.......Ugh.

I have a Yahoo address as a secondary email. I'm okay with it. The calendar, however, which is my primary computer calendar was changed, and it's a real mess now. Before it was fine.

Why does this happen? Because these companies are run by young people who are very high-tech. They like to mess with computer code. Take it to the bank. They do it because they have time, and they can. So they do.

My primary email is gmail. It works well. Switching addresses? I think you have to do it manually. Takes some time, but you're retired.

I've had yahoo for seven years and I tried the new system a few months ago and found it hard to deal with. Now we have no choice. Grandson loves gmail and convinced me to set up a gmail account and they claim they will transfer your mail for one month. Didn't happen with regularity. Decided I'd go back and deal with yahoo after all none of my friends read the posting about the new gmail account. I've had problems with the new yahoo but everyday it seems somewhat better. The only thing I hate they don't give you a convenient place to tell them what's wrong with their new system. Guess they don't want any input, lol

Ginger there is a "contact us" place. I wrote them a couple of messages the night they changed the system, but of course, never heard back from anyone........
