Major detour!

I'm writing this from a hospital bed in Kingwood Hospital- possible gall bladder sugery, and breathing treatments. Life is never fair - at least sometimes! Luckily this happened while I was in Houston and not on the highway...................
More on this saga later

Happy New Year!

Oh no! I'm so sorry that you have to start the new year this way. You are right though, it's best that it happened in Houston. I hope you can get it all sorted and still have some time on the beach to look forward to. Healthy thoughts coming towards you.

I'm so sorry to hear that you aren't feeling well, but I want to add to those who say "better in Houston than on the road".

Hope you feel better very soon!

Babs,
Now you can shut the door on 2008. I am sure that you are going to have a wonderful 2009. Some doors close and other doors open. Just go with the flow. Happy New Year!

Hang in there, Babs...It probably won't be a wild and crazy new year's eve for you!

You'll get to the beach, just a little late.

Babs, That is a smart way to look at it, at least it didn't happen on the road. I hope you are better soon! Happy New Year and a healthier 2009!

Theresa

Oh, NO!
I'm so sorry. Keep us posted.
But I'm glad that you are in Houston instead of on the road.

Get well soon. I agree that it is best it happened before you got on the road.

So unhappy to read this - You have a lot of people out here in electronland VERY concerned.

You are in our prayers and I am sure there is power in that.

Wow! What a surprise but these kind of things happen. Fortunately, you're able to roll with the punches. We're rooting for you. Let us know if there is anything we can do...

May your recovery be swift. Thank God for Houston. If ever there's a place to be when illness happens, it's Houston.

Get well soon.
