These wonderful "beasts of burden" are seen on the streets of San Miguel year-round carrying either tierra (dirt) in the spring and summer or firewood in the winter. I hope we never stop seeing these creatures! One of the joys of living in Mexico!
Hey, now you have a photo in. Great. And I'm glad you got the URL in your signature. I remember the burros from our first trip to SM. I love the bell announcing their arrival with wood for the fireplace and cooking. Hope that never goes away, such a beautiful earthy thing.
