Yesterday there were three bloggers together! Croft, Chris and yours truly. What a delightful time........but not enough time. I think we could have talked for a couple more hours, for sure.
Chris of "Living and Boondocking in Mexico", www.livingboondockingmexico.blogspot.com and I have been communicating for several years. Never met til yesterday.
The only way I know Croft was from his pithy comments on a fellow bloggers posts. Croft's blog is "Croft's Mexico and Other Wanderings", www.croftsmexico.blogspot.com. Then I got an email from Croft saying all of them were coming to San Miguel. It was a hoot to meet the three along with Chris' partner Juan, Croft's wife Norma and Robin and Steve from North Carolina who are RVers and friends of the group.
We had intended to go to another restaurant and when we all finally met in front of that restaurant, it was closed so the Bagel Cafe's back room, which most people don't even know about, became our hideaway so we could talk without interruption and in a quiet place.
When we all split up to go different directions after lunch, I did not want it to end.
It's really interesting when you meet people who you have read for quite a while. It's like you're friends and then when you do meet, it's almost like family. At least it is for me.
So if we all get together again, I doubt we will run out of things to talk about. In fact, I have a lot of questions about their Rving and their travels within Mexico among other things!

Well, if you make it to Mexico City in April, we could have another meeting of 3 bloggers... you, Kim, and me!
Oh, that would be so much fun! Send me the dates you'll be there......
Lucky you! Looks like a great time. Well, this afternoon I was pouring over a big map of mainland Mexico with my Baja travel buddies. We are now headed to the mainland next October to spend the winter and will spend a good amount of time in SMA-- so, hoping that means we will finally get to meet! Maybe you can corral another blogger gathering!
Nice get together! Finally meeting up after so many years. We'll be back. Thanks again.
It was great finally meeting you and like you say, it is like we are all one big family!
I'm not a blogger - just a reader. It was interesting, to learn, that you feel you personally know the bloggers you've been reading for years......'cuz that's how I feel about you & the bloggers I read!! I hope to meet you in person someday. Lena J
Looks like a good time was had by all. The Bagel has great food and the back room is nice. Had fun there with our new friends, introduced to us by Barbara. Goos times, well remembered.
Thanks Barbara!
Hi Lynne - Great to hear you're heading this way next October! I'll be here through December but then I'm outtahere for somewhere cause it is too darn cold here in January and February......
There are a bunch of RVers in town staying at San Ramon out near Atotonilco. I assume that is where you'll stay?
Keep me posted on your plans. Look forward to meeting you and seeing your home on wheels.
Chris and Croft - Hopefully our paths will cross again before you leave......I don't remember when you are going. My plans are slightly up in the air for Saturday. We'll see!
Thanks Lena - It is always nice to put a face with a reader! Let me know when you're heading this way.
Peter - Indeed, we did have lunch in that very same room. It's not my favorite place, at all, cause I like to be outside, but with all the people in town, we were happy to find empty tables and no line as there are at many restaurants now til the end of next week!
FUN! Croft and Babs been on my radar for years - and never have met up at the bottom of Mexico or anywhere else for that matter. One day perhaps ;-)
Be careful what you wish for Calypso! I'm seriously thinking of trying to get there next Jan/Feb.......so we might ALL show up on your doorstep! ha.
