I have chuckled about this since Tuesday evening shortly after my four point landing.
As I started to get chills, I headed down to bed and just crawled under the covers completely dressed.
Shortly thereafter I heard the bedroom door quietly opening. Matilda asked very quietly if I was sleeping to which I answered, "No". Then she wanted to know if she could get up on the bed with me.
"Of course", I responded.
She wanted to know if I was okay and I responded affirmatively. Then, in her big girl voice, she said,
"You know Grammy, old woman fall all the time. Even Nonie (her other grandmother) falls sometimes too." I wanted to start laughing but she was so serious and concerned that I agreed with her.
After she left, I just had the a smile on my sore face.
I can hardly wait to see what she or Sebastian will say when they see this black and blue eye, cheek and face.
Kids do say the darnest things. I am still smiling about her comment.

Thank goodness it did not happen when you were wrapping gifts! You KNOW what could happen if you run from room to room with scissors in your hands! LOL!! Seriously, hope you are feeling better......
Indeed. Matilda showed me HOW to carry scissors just the other day.
I'm fine.....just look horrible.
How long will it be before Mathilda recommends you wear a helmet?
I'm glad you're feeling better, and I'm sure you'll look better soon enough. Otherwise, just slather on a drag-queen quantity of makeup and soldier on anyway.

Where we fell down jogging this morning after changing direction suddenly on a gravel road. But we're fine.
Funny, my neighbor suggested getting a drag queen here in town to do make up for me........ha. I did dig out the BIG sunglasses and you can rest assured, I'll be wearing them. However it has been raining since yesterday...so no sunglasses, ha.
OMG, it's contagious. First Rick, my tenant fell down the stairs, I fell and now you. I hope no more!
Take care.
