I'm surprised it hasn't rented as yet.
An ad came out in Atencion this week. One call.
It's a perfect place to rent short term for the Christmas holidays. San Miguel is a peaceful, restfull place to be. The emphasis is on the Birth of Jesus, not giving presents. Short term the house rents for $560 a week. Much less then hotels in San Miguel.

The guest house is wonderful and has a great view. The bedroom is gorgeous and spacious. Great for a writer or painter that wants some quiet place to work.

Let me add my endorsement. The place is a class act. If I ever moved to San Miguel de Allende, it would on my list as a permanent spot to rest my head.

Babs - I will be arriving in SMA in Jan. and have secured rental for six months. I am hoping to make SMA my home and will be looking for something long-term to begin in July of 2013. Casa Tranquilo Guest House will probably be rented long before that time ..... sigh ..... it is lovely! I want to thank you for taking the time to write your blog. Your love, appreciation and respect for Mexico, and especially SMA, reinforces my decision to journey south of the border.
