We have had a wonderful time here in Charlotte and are so grateful that we could make the trip. Next year you can plan differently...sometimes we need to have these disappointing experiences to make some changes.picklesandroses.blogspot.comhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07656580922367962385noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-34246214.post-3396234949896610602009-11-28T07:55:19.525-06:002009-11-28T07:55:19.525-06:00Steve, you are such a huckster ha!

I was always bringing in strays - those who had no where to go and weren't known that well by all of us - now I see how that dynamic can cause loneliness.Babshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16609157345912932083noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-34246214.post-79091963843324989752009-11-27T19:03:38.643-06:002009-11-27T19:03:38.643-06:00Babs - I can appreciate how you felt yesterday...t...Babs - I can appreciate how you felt yesterday...the difference being I used to feel like you felt when I was growing up..spent with relatives I hardly knew and only saw once a year..so it was lonely..now I can choose to spend it with those I truly know and love...family or not. But I had a great time. New audiences. Old audiences. Doesn't matter to me. As long as I can pull out the old holiday boater and cane, I can always be a trouper.Steve Cottonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00468378507171761868noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-34246214.post-26647728998208499362009-11-27T12:51:47.779-06:002009-11-27T12:51:47.779-06:00Congratulations! You'll do no wrong, as far as your grandson is concerned. It's the best.
Well the 30 or more years can be waivered for a special few.........Babshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16609157345912932083noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-34246214.post-78346848243191738022009-11-27T10:53:39.590-06:002009-11-27T10:53:39.590-06:00I finally understand. He came home on Wednesday and they are loving this new addition to their home.

And you are right. You never get over being a Mommy or Grammy, or in my case a Moo-Moo (long story).

30 years or more? Hmmm.... That disqualifies Felipe and I. Oh well, I get it...now.maria luzhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06735541708915266533noreply@blogger.com
