I think if I moved over there I would live in Eronga. There is something about that teeny village that attracts me.
It would be interesting to hear your perspective on having lived there and now here in SMA!Babshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16609157345912932083noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-34246214.post-66750926948954452352014-03-20T10:40:56.950-06:002014-03-20T10:40:56.950-06:00I look forward to reading your book. There were very few expats living there then, and really not all that many now, and almost no English was spoken. It was a challenge to understand the P'urhépecha people for whom Spanish was also a second language, not to mention that many of them only had 2 or 3 teeth, lol.I lived there for 6 years before moving to San Miguel and I loved it.
Thank you both, Barbara and John.
Shannonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10707196505818823372noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-34246214.post-6283210922514407682014-03-20T07:55:02.089-06:002014-03-20T07:55:02.089-06:00I feel very strongly, as you know Steve, in NOT wa...I feel very strongly, as you know Steve, in NOT wanting to change Mexico.

I don't quite understand your comment however.Babshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16609157345912932083noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-34246214.post-75627245800076022992014-03-20T07:53:26.665-06:002014-03-20T07:53:26.665-06:00Kim, glad to know you made it to Chattanooga, Tn. ...Kim, glad to know you made it to Chattanooga, Tn. I think its harder to travel and know what to take then it is to move. The best way to move, in my opinion, is to sell it all and just come on down. You're never going to live that way again anyway. Well, at least, that's what I did and have no regrets! He knew that the Mexican character was strong enough to be able to choose for itself to maintain the old or to toss it out. (Of course, he also had some rather strong ideas on what should be tossed.)Steve Cottonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00468378507171761868noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-34246214.post-68987579028096635482014-03-20T06:59:50.401-06:002014-03-20T06:59:50.401-06:00Sounds like an interesting book.
