I'll be flying to Vancouver tomorrow. My life is taking a radical shift - a very joyous and happy one. I'll write a blog when I arrive there - give me a few days and I'll tell you all about it.
In the meantime, just know that I have a cheshire grin on my face. I'll be back in San Miguel the first part of August................and not alone.

That was my first thought, too. A puppy! Easy to house train and they keep the bed warm, too!

Trouble with puppies, they pee in corners and are difficult to train. We have had beautiful weather here for 2 weeks now, supposed to rain a touch over the next few days, just in time for Mizz Babs to arrive. Truth is, I think she's takin a cruise up to Alaska, gunna catch her a cruiseship guy, maybe a CAPTAIN OR TWO. Felipe, if I see her, and I catch her missbehavin, I'll let you know. I ain't pretty, but I'm effective.

Top ten reason Babs is going to Vancouver (cue the David Letterman music)
1) Training with the San Miguel bobsled team for the 2010 winter Olympics in Whistler.
2) To pick up your new baby from the surrogate that just gave birth, with contributions from Babs and Richard Lander
3)To be able to stand in one place and see 3 different starbucks
4) For the Sunday Buffet Brunch at the John B pub (Dam I miss that!)
5)To be able to have a BBQ on the Beach, while watching a shakespear play followed up by the fireworks festival!!

Ok. Babs is taking a small role in a made for tv movie filmed in Vancouver. She's bringing home a houseboy she's been corresponding with on babsblog.

I did some checking, there's a celebrity poker game going on at the River Rock Casino here in Vancouver, but no listing for the San Miguel Flash, so she isn't there. But, there's a competition for Hang Gliders on top of Grouse mountain,it's possible, she's not afraid of heights, whatwith ladders and all.Also,our famous Wreak Beach Nudist attraction is looking for a spokes person.Could be. Other than that, I have no idea. So I've called on my biker buddies to be on the lookout for a short, cute Red Headed Lady with a mischievious grin, we'll find her.

I have contact, I was right, the CABANA BOY has got her. She is in the land of the Chinese Hoard, this maybe more difficult than I thought. There is a ransom, $1.99 Canadian, I'll be on the streets tomorrow with tin cup in hand doing my duty to save the tenacious Red head from whatever fate awaits her beautiful self.
